Big Nick’s BBQ is a new restaurant tenant improvement located at the corner of Cape Coral Parkway and SE 47th Terrace in Cape Coral, Florida. The project consists of the interior build-out of 1,391 SF within a newly constructed shell building provided by the landlord. Designed to create a welcoming and energetic dining environment, the space reflects the casual, industrial character associated with traditional barbeque establishments while incorporating modern finishes and efficient layout planning.
GMA Architects & Planners worked closely with the landlord’s shell building architect to coordinate key architectural and infrastructure elements, including exterior storefront elevations, utility connections, demising partitions, and kitchen/bar integration. The coordination process ensured that the tenant improvements aligned seamlessly with the base building design while supporting the operational requirements of a full-service restaurant.
The interior design blends industrial materials such as corrugated metal panels, exposed ceilings, and warm wood accents to create a distinctive and comfortable atmosphere for guests. Strategic lighting and material contrasts reinforce the brand’s rustic barbeque aesthetic while maintaining a clean and contemporary dining space. The open seating layout provides flexibility for patrons and supports efficient circulation throughout the restaurant.
