Camellia at Deerwood is a Senior Care Community located in Jacksonville Florida. The three-story complex features approximately 120 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom living units, with many amenities including seasonal dining menus, guest rooms available for visitors, game rooms, fitness center, library, and an outdoor salt-water swimming pool.
The project scope included conversion of existing Ground Floor assisted living units to Memory Care residences, and other renovations providing a new laundry, new management offices, an employee break room, a therapy kitchen, activity room, dining room and other amenities supporting the new memory care function. A new outdoor garden was created with paths, landscaping and benches for the Memory Care residents.
The existing structure was constructed ca. 2009, with concrete masonry exterior walls and wood frame partitions, floor and roof structure. The project construction is estimated for completion in early June, with a 5 month construction schedule.
