This new, two-story building located in Osprey, Florida is the latest addition to the Deep Lagoon Seafood & Oyster House family of restaurants. Located at the point between Casey Key Marina’s boat basin and Blackburn Point, the restaurant was designed to take advantage of the view over the mangroves and back bay.
Totaling 9,964 square feet, the first floor of the building houses the walk-in coolers and dry storage while the second floor contains the dining area, seafood market, kitchen and support spaces.
The exterior and interior materials, and color palette are consistent with Deep Lagoon’s other locations and corporate brand. Standing seam metal roof and dormers, stucco and stone veneer were utilized at the exterior of the restaurant.
Traditional materials are used to reimagine interior and exterior dining areas, and bar as an “old Florida fish house”. Elements such as rough-sawn shiplap wainscot, tongue and groove ceilings and marine artwork reinforce the nautical feel. Unique to this location is the blue-stained, polished concrete floor.
