The Children’s Specialists of Florida building is a mixed use 13,000 square foot, two story facility on Summerlin Road in South Fort Myers. The Mediterranean styled building is home to a medical practice which specializes in pediatric pulmonary medicine and cardiology. The practice occupies 7,000 square feet of space on the second floor. The first floor is home to a 1,930 square foot gourmet catering company. The remainder of the first floor is medical office lease space. The classic design includes a pergola structure which extends the west elevation of the building and with flowering vine cover, provides a visual buffer between Summerlin Road and the parking lot. Blue and yellow ceramic tile panels are reminiscent of details from the boom time Florida architecture of Addison Mizner. The physicians office enjoys a second floor outdoor patio deck which also provides covered parking for the staff�s automobiles.
