The project is the re-development of an existing outparcel restaurant located in Naples, FL into a translation of the new standards established for the rapidly developing, regional, Deep Lagoon Seafood Restaurant & Market venture. All remnants of the iconic barrel tile roof, canvas awnings, and pronounced columns associated with the previous franchise needed to be first stripped away. The exterior was clad in simulated wood tile and stucco with a stone wainscot. Standing seam metal roof panels, bahama style shutters, and a wood pergola complete the new look. In keeping with the nautical theme, the interior features rough sawn shiplap wainscots, wood look flooring, exposed tongue & groove ceilings, and custom designed bar and table tops. Mounted game fish and other ocean themed art, along with live aquariums, complete the beach vibe illusion.
The total refurbished square footage of ±4,800 ft² of interior space was expanded to include an additional ±1,400 ft² of outdoor covered deck. The restaurant features fresh caught local and regional seafood in a sophisticated, yet relaxed, “Fish-House” motif. Fresh seafood is prominently displayed and is available for “choose your catch” or purchase if you prefer to prepare it at home. The restaurant is conveniently located in The Marketplace at Pelican Bay on the primary north/south artery in the heart of the Naples business/dining district.
