HealthPark Medical Plaza One is a multi-specialty medical office building at Lee Memorial Hospital’s HealthPark Medical Center.The 60,000 square foot, four-story building was designed utilizing structural modules which accommodate the needs of the medical office. The depth of the tenant spaces, the spacing of the structural system, the window framing modules, and the location of building utilities, were selected to allow for a wide range of medical offices to be designed with efficiency and flexibility.
Among the medical specialties located in the building are neurology, pathology, radiology, cardiology, OB/GYN, gastroenterology, and a multi-specialty pediatric clinic.
The building exterior materials include energy efficient double glazing and Dryvit exterior insulating finish systems. Being the first of many office buildings on the HealthPark campus, great care was taken to design a compatible, attractive, easily maintained building. The cylindrical treatment on the entry side of the building will contain two two-story spaces off the elevator lobbies. A corresponding cylinder on the other side of the building will afford opportunities for the offices to create special private offices, conference rooms, or other feature spaces while creating a design feature addressing the high volume traffic of Summerlin Road. The project was completed in the Summer of 1993.
