The Sarasota MarineMax is one of a series of facilities that MarineMax has installed throughout Southwest Florida to enhance the service and customer experience that MarineMax provides.
The 1,461 s.f. building provides storage on the ground floor level with stairs and a lift to the second floor level with a member’s lounge and restrooms which overlook the waterway.
The architecture complements the Florida Island Style and carries on the nautical theme established by the rest of the marina campus. The color palette and style are simple and inviting providing a comfortable experience. Large windows offer an enhanced view to the adjacent waterway and passing boat traffic.
The site presented the typical challenges associated with coastal construction permitting and runoff management. Constant monitoring and maintenance of containment systems resulted in a violation free project.
