Gora/McGahey designed a 33,000 S.F. addition and created a new space plan for existing office space to accommodate the needs of this rapidly growing, publicly traded company. Internal communication between many departments, as well as external communication with over 200 stores nationwide and suppliers and manufacturers worldwide shaped the building organization. Internal skylit streets with formal and informal conference areas and bistros encourage team work, while state of the art video conferencing and computer data systems link the headquarters with the rest of the Chico’s world.The addition being built under a construction management delivery system. Construction was completed in January, 2001.
